The British Horse Society Three Rivers Ride

The British Horse Society will open the latest addition to its Ride UK project's National Bridleroute Network on 9th and 10th September.

The Three Rivers Ride runs from Tidbatch in Worcestershire, through Herefordshire to the Brecon Beacons National Park Visitors Centre, and is the first Ride UK long distance route to traverse the Welsh/ English border.

Covering nearly 100 miles of on and off-road riding, the Ride gives riders the opportunity to cross the titular three rivers (the Lugg, the Wye and the Usk) and enjoy the beautiful countryside of the area. Riders will also see Historic ruins, monuments and other tourist and heritage attractions throughout Herefordshire and the Brecon Beacons National Park, both of which offer spectacular scenery.

The route will be opened in two ceremonies. BHS Chief Executive Graham Cory will open the Brecon Beacons end at 11.30am-12pm on the 9th September, and record breaking jockey Peter Scuadmore will open the Tidbatch end of the ride at 11.30am-12pm on the 10th September.

A pack containing two route map leaflets and a bed and breakfast leaflet is available for an administration charge of £2 from the Access and Rights of Way Department, Stoneleigh Deer Park, Kenilworth, Warwickshire CV8 2XZ.
