Dream Comes True

Fourteen year-old Louis Moore from Camborne had his dream come true when he qualified to compete at this year's biggest ever Horse of The Year Show (HOYS) at the Birmingham's NEC Arena being held from Wednesday 12th October to Sunday 16th October. Over 150,000 competitors set out each year to try and earn one of the coveted 1,500 places at the show but less than 1% actually make it!

With the extreme cost of competing Louis had only one chance to qualify his horse for the Blue Chip Junior Newcomers Championship. He admitted being very nervous and felt under pressure to perform.  However, he coped brilliantly and succeeded in winning the class to take the one qualifying ticket on offer.

Louis will ride in the International Arena on Friday morning 14th October following another Cornish rider, Melanie Hennah who will be riding 'Le Pointe D'or' in the Cuddy Working Hunter of the Year commencing at 7am.
