Polgoda Riding Club Show & Results
Polgoda Riding Club show had an excellent turnout for their annual show. Many competitors commenting on the friendly atmosphere of the show. Polgoda Riding Club members had a good day with many of them gaining first placed rosettes. Kate Burley won both the midi and maxi jumping on El Cid, Ruby Roo owned by Carole Nicholas of Polgoda Feedstore and ridden by Carly Mather and Kate Burley had an impressive first ever show and were placed in several classes. Ellis Pitt and her Palomino pony Garrow Vesta did well in the showing classes gaining three firsts. Ring championship awards went to; Emma Burt on River Attraction, Sophie Onslow on Milly May, Ben Freeman on Inspector Morse. Reserve championships were taken by; Sophie Bertoli on Nadine, Kate Burley on Ruby Roo and Paul Jones with Shalimarne Mistress Simnel. The Supreme championship was taken by Newquay’s Emma Burt on her five year-old bay mare River Attraction, with the reserve Supreme going to Paul Jones form victoria Roche with his home bred yearling chestnut filly Shalimarne Mistress Simnel. Polgoda would like express their thanks to judges and course builders; Melroy Francis, Emma Webber, Jill Harris, Hannah McIntrye Jane Fisher and Heather Lean for all their hard work. Not forgetting all the stewards who help make the day such a success.
