Fraddon Christmas Show

Fraddon and District Horse show held there Christmas fun show at Barguse riding centre on just before Christmas. They received excellent entries in all classes with over 30 entries in the 2ft 3in. Jinglebell Jaunt which was won by Roxy Croft on Ladies Revenge with Tracy Venner on Dark Secret a close second. A free fancy dress class saw 14 entries come forward which was won by the Sym girls Kim, Kirsty and Louise from St Stephens. Kirsty was also second in the lead rein jumping finishing less than a second behind Sadie Hallet on Goldie.

Many other riders sported fancy dress with Jayne Carne's horse Classic Cologne even arrived complete with two foot high antlers and a red nose. The Santa and Little Helper pairs ( Adult over 30, Child under 16 ) saw 3 Adults in the ring who have not competed for many years . Kay Pascoe, Jayne Carne and Jackie Heath. Jackie Heath who had not ridden in the ring for twenty years borrowed a pony from Penny Lay and teamed up with her daughter Jessie Baker to finish in third position.

The Fraddon and District horse show Committee would like to thank all who helped out to make this show the success it was. They now look forward to the next show on Easter Sunday Where money from the event will be donated to the RDA and CLIC.
