Established in 1951 by current owner Janet Burt-Crocker, Trenance Stables is situated next to the River Gannel overlooking Trenance Boating Lake and just minutes from Newquay town centre. The River Gannel offers a picturesque riding experience for beginners and experiences riders alike. Hundreds of satisfied customers, most first time riders visit year after year for an experience like no other.
We make our priority to ensure the safety and well being of all our visiting riders. All of our experienced staff are aware that for many riders, this could be their first time on or around a horse and are more than likely to be nervous. It is our aim to see that you enjoy your visit with us and hope you will return on your visit to Newquay.
Prices and services
Treks - £16.00 - 1 Hour rides for beginners or nervous people - Walking only.
Hacks - £17.00 - 1 hour rides for intermediate riders, MUST be able to do a rising trot and be in control of the horse.
Long Rides - £30.00 - 2 hour rides for advanced riders, MUST be able to canter and be in full control of the horse.
